Our patented design was built to be as universal as possible. While we haven't found any magazines that don't work, manufacturing tolerances can occasionally result in a tighter-than-normal fit. If you experience an issue, just reach out and we'll be happy to help.
What platforms WONT the inserts fit?
At this time, we aren't aware of any standard 9mm pistol magazines that are incompatible.
The one exception is some permanently pinned magazines. Depending on how the magazine was modified, there may not be enough internal space for the insert to fit correctly.
Important: Never force the insert into a magazine. Doing so can damage the slider. If your pinned magazine doesn't allow proper installation, the magazine may need to be adjusted by the gunsmith who performed the modification.
Can you use snap caps/lasers?
Absolutely.
The inserts were specifically designed to work alongside laser training cartridges.
You can also place snap caps on top of the slider during training. Just keep in mind that repeated use may eventually wear the slider's guide rails over time due to friction.
What are the weights of the inserts?
- 9mm 10-Round Mag Insert: 4.1 oz
- 9mm 15-Round Mag Insert: 6.1 oz
- 9mm 21-Round Mag Insert: 8.4 oz
- 9mm 21-Round 2011 Mag Insert: 8.4 oz
- AR-15 30-Round Mag Insert: 13.0 oz
How do I install this?
Installation takes just a few seconds.
If you know how to load a single round into a magazine, you already know the motion. Simply insert the weighted insert from the top of the magazine, just like loading the first round.
No disassembly or tools required.

I broke my TWMI what do I do?
If your slider broke
Send us an email or direct message and let us know what happened.
In most cases, we'll send you replacement sliders. We simply ask that you cover the cost of shipping.
If the brass insert broke
The inserts are machined from solid brass and are extremely durable. Normal dry fire training won't damage them.
If yours somehow cracked or broke during normal use, contact us with photos and we'll take a look. If it's a legitimate product issue, we'll make it right.
If the brass is only tarnished or discolored, that's completely normal. A quality brass cleaner will restore its appearance in just a few minutes.
